H’llo there!
Hi or… uh… boo.
:smiles: Nice to meet such, er, friendly apparitions.
I’m Dez. Who are you?
Miri! I’m Miri, pleasure to meet you, Dez.

I’m new. Obviously.
I was just about to ask that, I’m, uh, Miri.
Boo is an old standard for ghosts, I suppose. I guess I don’t follow tradition. Name’s Mason.
Nothing wrong with thinking outside of the box, I guess. Oh, I’m sorry you’re no longer with us.

-stares at her, then looks around- I did appear out of nowhere, didn’t I? Well… -looks back at her- Boo.
I do believe you’re suppose to say that before you give me a heart attack.

Bleeding Christ! :holds her chest: Er, uhm, sorry. You gave me a start.

She was nervous. Miriam was fresh out of field training and she already had her first Slayer. It may have seemed odd to some of the faculty that they had a change in librarians during the middle of the school year; especially one that came from England. She thought it would be good until she could earn the money to buy that business property for rent downtown near the magic shop. She’d much rather own her own store, that way she wouldn’t have a problem sneaking in her books into the school.
But she had a much worse problem on her hands. She was lost. This school was much larger than she had expected, and she stood among the students that were scurrying when the bell rang and she fumbled with the arm full of books while trying to stop one of them. “Excuse me, I seem to be—” She watched as they kept going, and turned quickly to catch another girl by the arm; trying to keep from dropping her books. “Where is the library?”
